Hispanic Heritage Month Spotlight: Nadine Ramos

Nadine Ramos – Hair Care Expert, Founder and CEO of Lasio, Inc.

What do you love most about being of Hispanic Heritage?

Our rich sense of culture and family is what I love most. Being of Hispanic Heritage has taught me the value of family and what it means to be family. And of course I love the music, dancing and food!

Tell us an important Hispanic History Fact:

An important Hispanic Fact, specifically from my homeland, Puerto Rico, is that our name comes from a Spanish nobleman Juan Ponce de Leon who was our first colonial governor. Tradition says, that when he saw our land he said, “Ay que Puerto Rico!” in translation, what a rich port!”

Who or what inspires you most?

My faith and religion is what inspires me. They remain my constant and what keeps me grounded. My belief in God keeps me pushing to achieve greater things in life. It’s what gets me through the rough times and what helps me enjoy the good times.

Something that you’ve never said publicly but want to reveal to DangerousLee.Biz:

You have to have a strong sense of self when pushing towards your success. Being successful and having that drive can sometimes strain friendships and relationships. Sometimes not everyone is genuinely happy for you and friends can end up wanting to see your downfall. At these times focus, strength, and perseverance are needed to stay passionate about your dreams, while coming out of relationships unbroken.

Where have we seen you before?

You have seen me in the media. I have done interviews about my keratin treatments, who’ve probably seen me at the Official GRAMMY’S Gifting Suite, in the crowd at fashion shows, in my Flagship Salon, Lasio Studios, and in my community supporting my amazing church family.

Where can we find you online?
