What do you love most about being of Hispanic Heritage?
We grow very close to our immediate and extended family. The elderly play a major role in giving advice to the adults and helping raise the youngsters. We appreciate and respect them deeply. When our parents grow old, we consider them our responsibility. One of the most amazing Hispanic and Latino culture facts is the level of responsibility we feel for other family members. We help each other when we are experiencing poor health, economic trouble or simply need a hand.
Tell us an important Hispanic History Fact:
Generally in the Spanish-speaking world “tú” is the singular way of saying “you.” In various countries throughout Central and South America however, “vos” is used instead. It is accompanied by a modified old Spanish verb form. It is as if part of the English-speaking world still used “thee” and “thou” in everyday speech.
Who or what inspires you most?
I am inspired by the millions of individuals around the globe that live humble and very happy lives by following the Golden Rule that one should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.
Something that you’ve never said publicly but want to reveal to DangerousLee.Biz:
Genuineness and sincerity cannot be replicated. What’s unfortunate is that insincere people try to act sincere and in doing so, mislead and deceive the other. I would rather meet a person who is not amiable and who does not feel any burden to act amiable towards me, than to have the misfortune of knowing people who feel like they need to be gracious and compassionate so they will appear to be good people, whilst possessing none of those qualities within themselves!
Where have we seen you before?
On a soccer pitch playing the beautiful game or traveling the globe to learn about the humanitarian needs of global communities along with their cultures, languages, cuisines, history and traditions.
